Martial Law worse? If Trump wins that is probably his only legal means to deploy troops/National Guard into the places they are needed. Then the shit really will hit the proverbial fan!!!

    Martial Law? ROFL.

    Just ever more rioting, etc.

These are generally not anti-Trump riots, they are anti-police. Hence why they will continue regardless of who is elected.

If the charges aren't dropped and it does go to trial, there is one element that can't be factored out as to whether he's found guilty, or not guilty and that's a jury. I have seen what should have been slam-dunk cases where the accused walked out of court not guilty, and cases where someone should have been found not guilty, spend the rest of their life in prison.

And regardless of that, this 17 year old kid, now has some serious shit hanging over his head to deal with. And all the GoFundMe and other people stepping up with money for legal defenses, this is fixing get really, really expensive.

I think, what he did was noble, and was done with good intentions, and not necessarily stupid, as so much being misguided. I hope what it it going to cost him in the long run was worth it. 17 is a really bad age to start your life out in prison. Personally, I hope he walks. I hope they drop all the charges.
But they won't. That poor kid is going to pay the hard price.

Initial charges do not mean much. They are like trial balloons to see how the public receives them. They can be uped/downed later.

What's higher than 1st degree murder?

I've just noticed a pattern with these issues when they have a mob to please. They over charge and then the charges are dismissed or severely reduced to a realistic point where they can wash it out down the line and not make an immediate impact .

I agree though, initial charges don't mean much but can reveal a lot.

The state would love to nail him on a 1st degree murder charge. Ain’t gonna happen. Good news is since it was two white boys that got iced probably won’t be any riots when boy wonder walks.

So what combat were you in today?
In any war, not everyone is shooting at all times. Its not a hot war but it is something warmer than a cold war.

We are at the stage during a cold war where one side is committing border incursions to escalate the situation and to use the response as an excuse to make it a hot war.

America is always at war with those who would see the Republic harmed.

The stage for a hot war, neighbor against neighbor is set. All it would take is a few weeks of the right events being portrayed in the right way for many cities to turn into a failed state/civil war. The news is delegitamizing our government and our police. A police badge gives authority because it is the symbol of the public's trust, once that trust is gone police are left only with force, which is no way to police a free people.
