Just to irritate you.
I have been curious for quite a while.
Just to irritate you.
I'm almost always on a desktop, in Firefox. On my phone, it's two clicks.
Why do people write "subscribed", or "subbed" in threads, instead of hitting the "watch" button up top?
Yeah, this near no wind in West Texas for the past few days is kinda unsettling when you're used to wind nearly every day.Sup all? Another pretty day!
Wind meter isnt spinning
It's different for sure! This would have been a good weekend to have yall out to shoot.Yeah, this near no wind in West Texas for the past few days is kinda unsettling when you're used to wind nearly every day.
Plus with "subbed" you add one to your post count.Morning.
"Subbed", for a typist, can be entered effortlessly, easier than a single mouse click. Then it's one mouse click to "Post reply."
Using the "watch" button, though, requires at least three mouse clicks, iirc.
If you're a trained typist, the first option is easy and efficient with one irritating break in the flow. The second option is one irritating break in the flow after another after another.
Rightly or wrongly, to many people the "subbed" method is more natural and just feels more efficient.
Also, lots of people are completely oblivious to what's right in front of their faces and have never noticed the "watch" button. Thanks for pointing it out.
How do you type, and hit the post reply button without clicking anything?Subbed
Watch thread is easy enough but once I'm in the thread, I can type a reply without any clicks at all.
