I saw the plywood walls. Not very strong, but probably strong enough for a car hauler. Tie downs are easy to add, but only 7' wide inside is a bit tight.
I was hoping to find an angle to get you more money. That wasn't it.
You said it weighs 7400lbs, whats the GVWR?
Since it’s got the rear stabilizer jacks, it almost like it was being used as a giant rolling job box in a previous life.
Parker is still around, they may have some historical info on and a better idea of what today’s value is.
What's it worth to you? I have a buddy who might be interested...I bought some property and this came with it . It has a Texas title and tags are up to date. It is an enclosed gooseneck cargo trailer with a ramp in the back . It is a six lug tandem axle trailer that is twenty foot long and ten foot tall . It is seven feet wide and weighs 7,400 according to the title .

Yeah maybe you're right three thousand is too muchIt's a nice trailer....but I'm not sure it's worth seeing the entire movie.....

Is that marine grade plywood?
As it sits 3,800 but I think I'll keep it and upgrade the axles to eight lugs
The axles are your biggest problem. If the trailer really weighs 7,800#. The biggest those axles could be are 6k. And possibly only 5,200#. That doesn't leave much room for putting anything on the trailer.
For comparison, a cheap, 16' utility trailer with tandem 3,500# axles usually weighs between 1,200 - 1,500 lbs. Those would be rated to tow more wieght than your trailer.
You may be surprised. I have a 20' utility trailer with 7,500 lb axles under it that weighs 4,500 pounds empty. By the time you consider the weight of all that plywood on the sides and top, the thick plywood floor, and the gooseneck hitch, it may be pretty close.I’d bet $5 against a hole in a donut that the trailer doesn’t weigh 7,400 pounds, unless it has some gold bars hidden beneath the floorboards.
Think about it. That’s more than 2 Honda Accords weigh, and not too much less than 2 F-150s.
