What are those tall things in the distance? Weeds?

Beautiful evening out here on the Donderosa.

Well got some mowing and weedeating done. Decided to take a break and ride over to my father's house across the other side of the farm, got stuck in the mud like Chuck! took me about twenty minutes using the winch line to get un-stuck! Got over to Dad's, and he wasn't even home! Turned around and came back to the house and spent thirty minutes washing all the mud off the golf cart.

Coffee has done wore off, so it's time for some A/C and a short nap.

It’s Saturday afternoon, time for steaks and beer.
I think the steaks could cook themselves today (says the man who will be grilling burgers in a bit).

I’ve got a 180 mile ride planned for the morning. It’ll be warm.

I'm fixing to fire mine up here shortly! Wife picked up some steaks, sausages and ground beef for burgers on her way home. And I still got three beers left from a couple of weeks ago.

I don't know which is worse when they are muddy, black gumbo or red clay. Both are bad though.
Yeah. It’s all evil. I have become pretty good at driving in it but it’s all to a point and no matter what you drive or how awesome the tires it will not leave the tires. Imo red clay sounds worse off the bat. Gumbo you can get one run at it with weight in the bed. Once you really tear it up and the rain hasn’t let up...your screwed.

I have been stuck in both before. You're right. It's all evil!

We have a lot of rat snakes popping up. Banana spiders too. Crawdads all over. Really neat out here. This morning the wife was screaming running to my truck and I knew she seen a snake. We have yet to see a viper. It’s a chore to talk her into not killing the rat snakes. Such big neat snakes. Total apex predator against little critters.

Dad use to have one that resided in his barn. The rat snake kept the birds on their toes! Dad hated the birds shitting all over his stuff in the barn, and the rat snake can get up in the rafters and take care of the birds.

I haven't seen the snake this year, but he has scared me a few times in the past!

I don’t do snakes. I know they are not all bad, but a phobia is a phobia that started as a kid playing in the woods full of copperheads and cottonmouths.
