You got me there.... she is NOT at the top.

However, she is the one most often ignored. As a caregiver of a dementia patient, you just gotta roll with a lot. Today, she wants to let all the grass die. Yesterday she wanted to put rock all over the top of the grass in the backyard. But normally it's just things like "you should lose weight", "you really need to stop eating hot dogs", stuff like that.

My MIL has Alzheimer’s. My FIL died in March. It’s going to be a long road.

    You have my prayers, Sir.

    Thank you very much!!

My wife's dad and a cousin died from Alzheimer's, so I knew it could be coming. Living it is completely beyond my expectations and it's still very early in the process.

    I'll need those prayers!!!

That sir, is a lot to shoulder, and I commend you.
I’ll wish you the best and keep you in my prayers.

In the early stages, there are some things that can be done to slow progression. My MIL refused to do anything the doctor recommended. There is a doctor at Houston Methodist Hospital who specializes in Alzheimer’s care.
