    Hank, you should search the forum for discussions about how private party transfers are done in Texas. There will be a lot of off-topic joshing to ignore but if you persist you'll find the case for not keeping records is solid.

    My FFL gives a $5 discount off his fees if you have a Texas LTC. Another good reason to have a Texas LTC is reciprocity gun permit laws with other states.
    If one has a Texas LTC you dont have a background check to endure. SO 5 bucks on "fees"? ummmm
