I would go with the Powderhorn, a really shop with affordable prices. Academy is good as well if you know what you are looking for. I would steer clear of Bass Pro though, way overpriced and the help there is not friendly.
Academy does sell lots of AR-15s and even tactical shotguns....not always the most knowledgeable but they are cheap and Academy bucks political correctness on a regular basis.. bass pro will not sell anything labeled as tactical gear, don’t believe it call and ask about a Leopold mk 4 or an m-4 etc in our current state of politics I believe that we should stand united against those that would arrest our constitutional rights from us under the guise of political correctness and this year academy is following suit.
Also I thought Wayne shut down?
Yep....but it doesn't involve buying a new magazine for that gun....My problem is i was given a lorcin .25 cal with no clip and all these places are sayin that they dont carrt lorcin stuff because its not that popular. well that sucks because i really need a clip any suggestions?
I have not confirmed this, but I heard Wayne is still open doing gunsmithing and selling accessories. However, he does not have an FFL anymore (he let it expire) therefore he cannot sell firearms.
Been meaning to stop by and see what's going on at Hoguns, but I just haven't had the chance.
Cheers! M2
Durys is a good shop prices are consistent with most just shop around before you buy and make informed decisions.
