Good Morning Texicans. Waiting on the last tree trimming contactor to show up and submit his bid. This stuff is crazy. I have 3 big ass ash trees that need to dead branches from the freeze removed. First guy said job too big and passed. Second Guy said $7500, then dropped to $6500 if I commit today, then down to $5000 when I told him waiting on more bids. (he will not get the job as I told all I want your best price, no dicking around) Third guy was $2500, fourth guy was 2 days at $5000 per day (Just Wow). So far the 3rd guy is in the lead. I would have thought the bids would be closer together, but this is all over the map.

Sent you a PM about your tree situation. Son in law is a certified aborist. They may be able to help you. I don't know anything beyond that

I'm not gonna touch that one.

The best tacos I ever had were in rocky point mexico in about 1985 or so. Street tacos, before they were cool.

Wont ever go near the boarder again but it was a fun time. We used to cross in Nogales all the time back then.

Sea food looked almost edible, that's coming from someone who doesn't eat bugs regardless of weather the swim or walk.

In reality it was the best looking and smelling sea food I've ever seen, sold right off the boats as the docked.

The girls and alcohol, it gets fuzzy from there. Lol

Oh, the thing about not drinking the water...that goes for the ice in the drinks. Lost a couple weeks in college after a trip in 88.

Have Yall seen the cop cam video of Allen West's wife arrest? She was definitely swerving & when she stopped for the officer, she stopped in the middle lane...of 3 lanes of traffic. WTF.... who does that, other than someone impaired. The officer had to tell her to get back in & move to the shoulder. Then she only moved over to the left lane & another officer came up & blocked traffic for them.

Still waiting on the blood draw to show what she was on. I definitely think she was impaired on something.

When I've needed trees removed, I've simply waited till someone else on the block was getting work done. Then, after the guy in the tie with the clipboard has left and the actual crew is onsite, I approach the leader and, while it's a struggle to get through the language barrier, I offer him about $200 per crew member and an extra hundred for him.

You'd be surprised how often the crew doing the actual work can kick into high gear, finish their job a couple of hours early, then take care of my job, all by normal quittin' time.

I was tired waiting. No one else has had a tree guy out so I guess my neighbors will get the benny
