If your ear drums ain't bleeding, it ain't loud enough!
    No. Just...no.

1978. Blondie. Parallel Lines tour. Downtown Houston in a long-gone venue. I sat right in front of the stacks, stage left.

I couldn't hear when I walked out. I could barely hear for 3 days. My ears have been ringing ever since.

I found out later that by that time, their drummer was functionally deaf. The band wore ear plugs but they didn't feel the need to warn the crowd.

    There's a time and place for loud...but there's a limit.

Sorry if that comes off as rude but my tinnitus is seriously loud this morning and it has me in a foul mood.

This is usually one of my Whiskey Wednesday songs, but it's such a great song, that it deserves a Friday oncore!

Saw a live video a few years back, looked it like was done on a studio stage or empty venue, with his wife singing backup.

It was even a better performance than the original record, which is my go to whiskey drinking song for when the mood hits.

Out all the versions on YouTube was never been able to find that particular video again.

Damned few songs I never get tired of, but that’s one of ‘em …

I feel your pain, or hear your tone…

I didn’t always were hearing protection when I should have. The VA says that my tinnitus is worth 10% disability.
