I have one for 4 inch K frames but it's not exactly horizontal. It was made by Two Fools Leather Goods. I'll try to find it and get a picture.

Sounds like a decent vehicle holster option.

In the future I was told I would need to have my wrist fused. I am very interested in these holsters as an option for carry.

I don't do horizontal but I do sometimes cary a single action in an angled crossdraw holster. Works good for my bad joints.

I looked into these, or something real similar quite a while back. And while I like the idea for driving, as an edc type thing, it just wasn't for me and my situation.

I used to have a link to a few of them until I cleaned up my computer a few weeks back.

For open carry gun must be in a holster. No holster required for concealed but why would you? Guntests.com had an excellent article on shoulder holsters, if you are subscribed.

I’ve used true horizontal canted cross-draw holsters. The problem with a true horizontal is the but of the gun ends up in….a….um….how do I say this….tactically and uncomfortable place while seated. I’ve also seen an ‘upside down’ horizontal where the butt/mag okate faces skyward. Again, not the most tactically sound position.

The only place I’ve used a horizontal cross-draw is on the chest of my plate carrier.
