I70 in Kansas opened in 1956. We used to take it from KC to Topeka.And when I took Drivers Ed in Kansas there was no interstate.

Those in the middle had to use US 81, I 35 took longer to build. Moved from Harvey County to AZ IN 1957, talk about changes…coke dates were advanced in KS, AZ they had parties with games like 7 minutes in Heaven (got to go in a closet or bedroom) with someone of the opposite sex.
