Mile walk complete. Dog worked off lead the whole way even following commands in the middle of a half dozen panicked squirrels.

Foggy and chilly at 44 degrees.

Tripped and hurt my back. That's all it takes to screw up all that surgically repaired mess. At least the nerve damage is all recovered cause my legs worked and kept me relatively vertical. Took almost 2 years for that. Last time I put my leg out to stop a fall it didnt respond.

Got some errands to run. Costco. Pharmacy fun.

    Slay dry hump day!

I finished my bottle of Tramadol on Sunday.
What I like about Tramadol is I don't feel like I'm hungover from a bad three day drunk, or feel spaced out like some of the other painkillers.

Tramadol is a synthetic opiate, so it has lesser addictive qualities. But even given that, I still only take them when I'm hurting really bad.

Tramadol is equal to codeine strength wise.

When you're on the extended release stuff that ship has sailed.

I need to watch where im walking. I walk that sidewalk every day and picked today to almost eat it.

    Not a good day.

    Naptime.

My first-hand experience with opiods is almost non-existent. Some give me a skin rash, leave me hungover (well, melatonin can do that...), or just make me feel weird. I hope to God I can do without them for the rest of my life.

In other health-related news, I just got back from the doc and I'm borderline positive (will need to re-confirm next April) for both diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. Also, cataracts have gotten started. NONE of this was evident at my last checkup, 13 months ago.

After all these years of being nearsighted but correctable, when my eyes decided to go to hell they also decided to take the express train.

    :(

    Sorry.

I got 2 of the 3 shot in each eye last feb but they caused some floaters that I never had before. They helped a little with vision but that's it.

Let us know what they suggest for you.
