Well, I have no life on Friday nights, and this was more entertaining than reruns of "whose line is it anyway" ... How sad is that?!?!

My cans of shiner blonde were more exciting than reruns of "whose line is it anyway". But seriously, in one night we get someone banned for being an honest jackass AND I'm a case of something txinvestigator has never seen, and I miss both posts!

At least it's not a fridge full of blonde's with shiners!
At least. That would mean I'd died and gone to heaven.
    WOW That's pretty sick, dude.

Tryin' to get back on topic a little. I've contacted my lib state rep, not much hope from him, but it was worth a try. Now is there a companion senate bill? If so, what's it's number so we can start getting our senators behind it.

Lets stop screwing around and pass this thing. Use this link to contact damn near any rep: http://nra.capwiz.com/nra/dbq/officials/

What a great advancement for RKBA in TX. I would argue the most groundbreaking we've seen out of TX this session after years of totally avoiding it.

The other 2 bills are great too. Lets kick ass and get our reps involved!

To clear up some of the confusion I would like to explain the method behind this bill.
Constitutional Carry is the only thing acceptable for Texans. We must all realize what were aiming for and persue what we can get passed into law.
The folks at Lone Star and Mr. Lavender actually started out with the goal of Constitutional Open Carry. The fact is, were not sure if the Constitutional bill would make it to Perry's desk. Since 1871, Texans have not had the right to open carry in public. The campaign led by Suzanna Hupp gave Texans the right to conceal carry in 1995. In 1996 Texans had the right to carry a concealed handgun. Untill now, noone has entered Texas Legislature with the compassion to see this through till the end. Let us all be thankful we have George Lavender in the Texas House of Representatives.
A lot of work has went into creating this bill. We need legislation that will make it to Rick Perry's desk. This bill will get there.
Today I spoke with my friends in Arizona and announced the good news. They wish us well and are hopeful for our success.
We have a lot of good things happening with gun legislation in this country. On March 4th Wyoming got Constitutional Carry. Tennesse has strong support for Constitutional Carry in their Legislature and it looks like they will also get it.
Lets get this bill on Perry's desk so we can move foward.
    Amen
