“I’ve got a little change in my pocket, going jingle, linga, ling.”

Well, actually it is gift cards to Bass Pro, but I don’t know any songs about that.

There is no need, only wants. I already have a variety of pistols of various sizes in a number of calibers.

I’ve narrowed down my next purchase to either a Beretta 92FS or a Sig P365 (or P365XL).

I’ll probably end up with both at some point, so the debate is which to buy first. I maintain a long list of firearms that I want to add to my collection, and it just so happens that these are available at the local store.

The Beretta would become another range gun. The Sig would likely replace my EDC. If I go Sig, I’ll have to decide which model, and I am leaning towards the smaller model at the forfeiture of site radius.

So, do I buy the full-size Beretta first or the compact Sig?

    What say ye?

A P365XL is on my short list. I'd be getting that one. Although the Beretta is a fine pistol, I have no love for them.

I purchased a Beretta M9 twelve years ago. I'm a 1911 addict but as a State Guard member the Beretta was required for Guard/Reserve matches. Although it would never be my choice for carry, I've purchased several more Berettas.

I have four Beretta 92 series pistols - an SB, two 92FS, and a 92FS Compact L M; also have a few other models of Beretta pistols. I like em, then again, I've liked just about every Beretta pistol I have ever owned. Have a total of nine right now. Need to get one of their shotguns sooner or later. That said, I agree with the folks who say to purchase the SIG if you need to replace your EDC right away (as for myself, I do not think I'd ever carry a SIG pistol, carried one for work for several years, thought they were junk but they were a government contract pistol). If your current carry does not need to be replaced right now, then I'd recommend you purchase the Beretta and that you have some fun with it.
