Just ask my brother in law

The psychic told my sister who do you know that would be walking around a palm tree saying F-Me F-Me F-Me

And the psychic had no knowledge of the event. She happened to meet my sister though a friend .

Truck put my left peg into his rear tire at 60, its a long complicated thing that without diagrams no way it will convey in text lol.

I ended up doing superman across the asphalt for almost 75 yards my jacket was fine so I had to be flying :).

Helmet first into the curb a good 3"long gash in the helmet down to the 2nd or third layer tumbled like a rag doll.

Sat up pulled my helmet and tossed it. Told the crowd please pick up my bike its leaking gas lol.

Ask a witness to remove my left boot and watched my foot fall over to the left with a loud crunchy grinding noise before he touched it.

Left leg was broken 3 places due to the truck tire. I did not have 1 scratch or broken skin anywhere.

Damn dude, glad you're still with us!

I've cleaned up bike wrecks and its frickin amazing what ones people survive, sometimes mostly-unscathed, while others turn fatal that didn't look all that bad from the vehicular standpoint. Obviously you weren't meant to go at that time!

The first motor cycle wreck I remember working was one of those one in a million incidents - a guy was on a city street passing a hospital when a frickin blue-hair pulled out from the hospital ER parking lot in front of him without looking. She crossed 2 of the 3 one-way lanes, he couldn't avoid her. Super manned over her hood, flew for a while, hit the pavement and rolled. An ambulance crew that had just dropped one off and was returning to their bus witnessed shit - they went into immediate action and got him whisked up and into the ER. Guy's bike was in pieces, we just picked the pieces up and put it on the flat bed. He lived. She got a huge fuckin' ticket, and hopefully sued.

I am still debating if I should keep mine as in six years I will be able to carry under HR 218. The only drawback is qualifying every year as compared to five years LTC but I can take my gun in all fifty States.

Good for you and thank you for a career in law enforcement. Someday (not in my life time) if enough 2A supportive members of Congress and the President are elected the national reciprocity bill will be become law. Then all the good guy/gal civilians can be legal in in 50 states just like with driver's license. Its been introduced for consideration several times in Congress but dies there as there not enough right minded members to vote it out of committee. So sad. In the meantime TX is making progress with other states; 37 that will honor TX LTC. And in general over 20+ states now have constitutional carry.

When you have quite a few states like California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts, that are very restrictive in gun rights, I can say it probably won't ever happen in even our great grandchildren's lifetime.

HR 218 went through the same route as all other bills and it usually died in the committee. Thankfully it was passed in 2004 thanks to George Bush Jr. It was amended later in 2013 to include law enforcement officers employed by transit companies such as Amtrak. I am one year shy of 20 years of service and technically qualify if I leave next year but I do plan to stay six more years.
