i think if you truly feel you live in a tryannical state - you're seriously confused

perhaps you should go abroad and see what real tyranny is like.....

but the beauty of where we live is that we're all entitled to think as we wish

You gotta explain that a little better. You lost me somewhere.
Sorry man. I was being a little "deep".
I was referring to the fact that our rights as gun owners in general should be one of the things that unites all of us on this forum.
Now, due to the way our legislators are performing, we're all getting pissed off about it.
KAK, himself has become very cynical. Some people in the thread are telling him to quit his bitching. Others are saying they agree with him and have been saying this all along, etc.
It's definitely divided us a little bit.

I dont think it has divided us. we all just have different opinions and some express those opinion differently

I think it is inheritently frustrating to be fighting for God given rights that are already inalienable. It's like saying "We need to fight for our right to breathe Texas air".

At least some of us are getting pissed off. If enough of us do, then we'll try the due process and natural progression - Soapbox, ballotbox, cartridgebox.

I was just wondering when the brady campaign is going to get their way in Texafornia.

Its definitely a matter of when not if.

I guess the politicians will vote themselves tanks too.

Your post have gone from inane, to slightly irritating, to completely annoying, to now; irrelevant.

I agree we all want the same things except for TXI, he likes men.

This is a very disappointing year for Texas when states like Wyoming get constitutional carry before us. Florida will likely be getting OC before us too. Florida... a SWING STATE... Way more libs than TX.

Why arn't some of you pissed off about this BS?

They dont pass campus carry but they go right on ahead and pass it for themselves. That SUCKS!

Lets all email Perrynegger for a Veto. They should not get this until the rest of us do.

    KAK.

This is your one and ONLY warning. If you can't discuss this without telling people off, then you need to go find another forum. You are free to express your opinion, but you are over the line here.

If you don't stop, I will assist you in leaving.

I usually stay out of these heated threads... but good grief. It seems like the tin foil hats are coming out.

If anyone thinks we could possibly get to a point where there would be absolutely no gun restrictions, they are delusional. Folks it's not going to happen. No matter how you quote the 2A. Texas currently allows concealed carry, and perhaps will allow open carry at some point, but it's not going to be for every Tom, Dick, Harry or Jane out there. You're going to need to demonstrate you are of sound character, have a clean record and know how to shoot a 40' semi trailer at 7 yards. Then there will be (IS) a fee for the state to administer that. I don't have a big issue with any of that. I don't want felons walking out of a 10 year stint in Huntsville, being able to carry a gun. Not to say they won't... we know that doesn't work, but I'm not one to sanction that.

So that's my position and if you don't like it... well you know how that goes.

This is a good friendly place. The stuff we talk about can get a little heated. We just can't get all pissed and go off here. Bottom line is that we are all gun enthusiasts and we need to respect the fact that others may not agree with our every opinion.
