My God. The old SA Municipal Auditorium. What a decrepit, creaky, absolutely wonderful place!

With the all-wood construction that place had the best acoustics of any "municipal auditorium" I've ever visited.

Up until ~1975, at least, the air conditioning units atop that building were still using cut-to-size-on-site leather belts almost everywhere.

I shed a tear when it burned.

Any concert there was wonderful! Yes bounced balls of sound off the walls...
