Ime, most “Libertarians” don’t actually have any clue about what’s going on in politics and just sit on the side complaining, unwilling to take a stand on anything because it’s easier to promote pipe dreams that could never be tested and would likely lead to disaster if they were.

They of the goth kids of politics, lol.

I do mean most. Some people actually stand on principle. But based on party platform I don’t find much common ground.

In reality most of the lib party platform ship has sailed. The country has grown beyond the ability to go that direction. Anarchy would reign.

In principle most conservative are libertarian leaning in many concepts. The modern Republican populist America first core of the party has moved beyond the neocon bullshit.

No nation building but you also have to be able to act in your best interests. If someone needs bitch slapped then slap them, dont try to colonize the country.

Domestically Government reach will have to eventually be curtailed or it will collapse.

There is common ground there and destruction of that which is the common antithesis to both conservatism and libertarianism should be the over riding priority. Not delivering votes to dems or stealing votes from conservatives just to say I voted principles. No you copped out so you can have no skin in nb the game and internally absolving your self of blame. It's a fantasy world that will never be reality.

The Libertarians lost me when they ran gun control advocate William Weld for VP in 2016. Since then they've become a total clown show with candidates like "Vermin Supreme" and Spike Cohen. It seems their only current role is to siphon votes away from Republican candidates.

Most of the Libertarian's votes will likely skew Walker, still a battle but this put's Walker at a slight advantage.

Here's my challenge to those who are firm believers in massive vote fraud. Assuming Walker wins, will you accept that massive vote fraud isn't endemic? Think about this, if the democrats have the ability to implement massive vote fraud this would be the time, this race will likely determine control of the senate, that is THE prize of the election. Trump lost GA in 2020 and cites massive vote fraud as the reason. This would imply that Democrats have the motive, means, and ability to use massive vote fraud to win this for Warnock so if they don't, then it's a boogyman right?
The problem is we need 53 to control the senate if Murkowski keeps her seat in Alaska. Neither her nor Romney can be counted on to tow the GOP line

Unflattering material? Like being a naval officer and serving his country?

If there was anything unflattering about Ron DeSantis, the democrats in Florida would have used it already.

I told someone else today that I fully expect Trump to blame DeSantis for the raid on Trumps home if they run against each other in the Primaries.

Probably also claim DeSantis begged Trump for help during the Covid crap and Trump told him what to do.

There should have been. The extreme ball-dropping the current administration has done from day 1 should have guaranteed a GOP sweep of Congress. Once again, the Republicans have snatched mediocrity from the jaws of victory.
the left views that as a feature. A red wave would also require our elections to all be legitimate.

From Wiki The party favors minimally regulated markets, a less powerful federal government, strong civil liberties (including LGBT rights, with the party supporting same-sex marriage), the liberalization of drug laws, separation of church and state, open immigration, non-interventionism and neutrality in diplomatic relations, free trade and free movement to all foreign countries and a more representative republic.[65] In 2018, the Libertarian Party became the first in the United States to call for the decriminalization of sex work.[66] The party since 2022 has no official stance on abortion.[67]
Now look at the Gov of Belgium and Sweden. Compare!
The idea of Libertarian has been around for along time, limited laws and Fed gov. (nope, gotta have laws to eliminate all the laws that have social restrictions - and have a sane reason). Difference between Dem politics and Libertarian platform? Great Reset/Green climate? Socialist Party (Ok largest party in the 20s.) Socialist platform - https://www.socialistpartyusa.net/principles-points-of-agreement
Then read US constitution. See a problem?

Only the left views those failures as a feature. And an actual 'red wave' would exceed the left's ability to cheat halfway believably. And if they can't make it plausible, then the independents and even some of the Dems will notice.
