Kimber Custom Two Tone…….but in 9mm, had to give one a try.

I got the same gun as you, it's an awesome piece of iron, but mine was 45 acp, that's the stoppin power.

Kimber always gets a bad rap, only issue I have with them is there customer service, that needs a big upgrade, I love my Kimber, even though it’s a 9mm

My “UCDP” .45 wouldn’t eject or load untli our favorite gunsmith did some “polishing”.

He did remark that some of the innards were castings when they should have been forgings !

So, it sits in the safe. I offered it to our LSO / ATF Kid, but he said he already has a few REAL 1911’s.

Kimber and Taurus are similar, except for price. If you got one without a problem, it's a good gun, if you got one that has a problem, good luck with customer service.

It ain't much just the SR1911 CMD. Put some ebony grips and a JTM extended release. Might want to put some tritium sights later on.
