is the TP-Link Deco AXE5300 a good buy at $270

I only get 350 mbs service so might be overkill

I am trying to reach my out buildings my current wifi router reaches past the buildings but not into them :( so its close with just the router.

or any recommendations on a mesh system that I will be using with a wireless backfeed and not wired. Ya back feed is not the right word but I am sure its close enough :)

    thanks

I use a Netgear Orbi mesh system with 2 satellites. I have dsl only 50 mbps, I have 1,700 square foot house. Signal reaches out into street, I needed it for my Ring camera's. I have a smart house with about 20 devices and no problems. Knock on wood.

Other than the Chinese, Amazon, and Googlers watching you shower and looking through your files?

    In the woods...
I had the same question a little over a year ago.

Forum members provided me with a great deal of help in deciding which route to go. You might do a search for that thread, as it contains lots of useful information.
I ended up going with the Deco “towers”. I think I purchased the system at Sam’s, and then bought a couple of more of the towers off of eBay when I found out that they actually worked. I have outbuildings that are 70 yards or so from the house, and I was able to situation the towers where I have uninterrupted service between a guest house, the main house, and my small shop.

I have used a lot of different brand Access points over the last 25 years. My current one is an Asus, and I have 2 different models meshed together. IMHO for homes it is hard to get a better product.
I threw away my Linksys units, once they moved to cloud management.
