Shit storm. Literally. Apparently some people are not aware that some things should not be flushed down the crapper. Sewage raining down from the ceiling. Effecting multiple areas. I think it's funny as shit since I was luckily not one of the ones covered in shit water. I can't imagine the cost to remedy this crap.

    Dallas Texas or so
When prohibition was repealed, at 12:01 am, Budweiser had a beer wagon come out of the brewery in St. Louis pulled by Clydesdales to a crowd of happy watchers. There is film of this and as the wagon comes out, you see a woman with a small girl standing there. They were my Grandmother and Mother.

Also, ibn the 1960s Schlitz had a clydesdale team that pulled a steam calliope. It was a sixty horse team and had ten or twelve mounted outriders. Billed as the biggest horse hitch in the world. Take that 20 mule team borax.

All I know is I remember those Budweiser TV commercials with the Clydesdales - especially around Christmas - as a kid when my dad would watch football on the big TV in the living room. Absolutely iconic. I can hear the tune they'd play over the video right now in my head.

BTW, I was relieved to find out that none of the horses seem to have been injured - I definitely wouldn't have posted the video if they had.

Well, it's not my workplace, but a beer truck jackknifed in San Antonio last night...

I live six miles from the Merrimack, NH Budweiser brewery which is home for the East Coast Hitch of the Clydesdales.Pre-covid every first Saturday of the month was picture day and you could get up close and personal with one of them and have your photo taken. They have 300 acres for the horses. The stables are immaculate and the brewerty tour was always someplace to take visiting friends and relatives. The hitch also appeared in the South Boston St. Patrick's Day parades and as I was a marcher, we saw them again all set to go!

Spotted a guy in a chest rig pretty far out last night. Yup, had to work the ghetto at 20:00. Spotted him before he noticed me noticing him. Instinct took over with a firm “get the **** out of here” and mentally ready to go. He took off running.

On a humorous note I did see one guy walk backwards for like a 1/4 fixated on something imaginary.
