Some friends of mine are going to come in from out of state and see what Texas is like. Who wants to come hang out and shoot with people from around the US and even probably one European?

If you don't want to do that, they want to go enjoy 6th Street on the Friday before, you're welcome to join us for one or both.

If you bring a gun you're willing to share and are picky about ammo, they'd be happy to reimburse, otherwise, let me know what calibers they should bring.

I'm down depending on schedule. When and where are you planning on doing this? I've got some guns that are "just for fun", and don't mind letting others shoot them. Help cleaning them after the fact is appreciated

Probably all day on the 26th. Where is Best of the West Range, which is up north east of Austin, but worth the drive (they've got stuff like a 1000 yard rifle range).

We can get you some help with cleaning. I've got access to at least two ultrasonic cleaners, and everybody who goes shooting is going to be cleaning.

I have a shoot at Bexar on the 26th. If thats the date then I will be busy.

Its a real first class facility. Been up there a lot. The rifle range is something to behold. A friend of mine has a Barrett and it's fun to ring the steel LaRue targets way out there. Lots of big pistol bays and plenty of room to spread out. Be sure to take plenty of folding chairs as there is not much seating except at the club house. And it gets windy so take a lot and I mean a lot of staples with you. Take all the ammo you need and more. And above all else be safe and have fun!!!

I might be able to come through.
Haven't visited that range, but I can bring my 1911 and Czech made 9mm.

As far as 6th street, I'm more then happy to tag along.

I am one of those friends of Sages that he mentioned. I have a bunch of guns I can bring if people want to try them out. HK-91, 2 .308 ARs, several 5.56 ARs, MSAR, and three Sig pistols (9mm and .45) I'll also bring a pop up canopy, chairs and coolers. Two of my ARs are long range shooters and it will be good to see how they are at long range. The farthest I've shot them is 200 yds. If you want to try out any of these, just post here
