Get a meter and have it calibrated by a shop. Our neighbors used to party on a weekday but now it’s only certain fridays or Saturdays.

People are pos. I stopped being neighborly to those that have no common sense.

I give our sheriff’s department a hard time. For reasons I can only speculate on they never enforce anything just talk big and act tough. The last thing I told a deputy was after knowing he didn’t issue a citation was ask him what crimes I can commit and not get in trouble with y’all? He gets agitated and I’m all well it’s true and asked what example he’s setting.

Apologies for the language but people are fucking retards. Not the America I grew up in. Too many people and most of em inconsiderate. Or maybe they just function on being obnoxious. Maybe sitting in a chair in the middle of nowhere would make em freak out. Start having withdrawals from no music.

I'm considering getting together with my neighbor and hiring a bagpipe band to play in his yard right up next to the privacy fence he built between himself in the idiots. Sure, Carl's not Scottish, but I'm sure he'd happily sip some Glenlivet with me and enjoy the music till the wee hours of the morning.

So I sat my daughter down tonight and let her watch "Star Wars" for the first time. She seems to have enjoyed it (she's 11).

Funniest thing though...during the Death Star battle she took a liking to Biggs in Red 3. Several times she said "They'd better not kill Luke's friend..." "Is Biggs still alive? I hope he makes it..." "If they blow Biggs up..."

    And then...

    Biggs go boom.gif

Well, better luck next time, kiddo.

Your daughter would probably enjoy knowing that Bigg's callsign (Red 3) was eventually passed on to a girl. The A-Wing pilot, Sila Scott (during the Battle of Endor).

Wait until early morning, when they are trying to get some sleep. After keeping you awake late at night, they shouldn't have an issue with some early morning noise.

Got no way to prove it's that loud, but I'm going on what the Sheriff's department told me last time there was a ridiculously loud party. By the time I went to bed the music had stopped, but when I stepped outside to see if they were done I could hear children shouting and squealing like they were playing tag or something. After 1am. Because the neighbors are just great parents.

I feel bad for the neighbors between us and the party. They have to have had it so loud they could understand the lyrics.
Have you asked them politely to keep it down a bit? Have you made any friendly attempt to communicate your concerns?

Are you basing any parental judgement on real issues or just the fact the kids are staying up late? Kids just staying up late playing is not what I consider in the realm of bad parenting at all.

Did you have older people around when you were a kid that just complained all the time about everything? You might be becoming them.
