    Accurate. The Mason/Dixon line was set by two British surveyors who were brought 'across the pond' to settle a property dispute. The line these two gentlemen places was named using their last names, Mason and Dixon. The original placed markers were made of stone and some still exist and are used to draw the property boundaries.
