Nice looking rifle, I have the stuff here to reload but I have not messed with it. I have a few friends that do play with reloading a lot but I feel we still have much to learn about rimfire before we start with reloading.Nope, never competed in any organized shoots, but play with improving what I can hit with my squirrel gun.
Have you played with loading your own rimfire?
I picked up a thousand primed cases a while back, and wondering about what to stick into them.
The action has been modified to a detent delayed bolt, and a stronger main spring so I can run a little hotter ammo.
That is why I play with them, and they are fun to modify.Always fun regardless.
WE do a monthly(last Saturday of the month) match that combines 50 yard benchrest and steel from 100 out to 300 yards here in Brenham.Shilouette only. No other types of rimfire matches around here that I'm aware of.
Mind sharing a link?WE do a monthly(last Saturday of the month) match that combines 50 yard benchrest and steel from 100 out to 300 yards here in Brenham.
I don't do the match at CCC anymore, what I do now is to help people learn the effects of wind while getting them used to scoring with practicescore and getting used to being on a clock, this way when they do go to a prs/nrl match they know what to do.Mind sharing a link?
ETA: Aren’t y’all out at CCC too? I stopped by your shop a while back to see about some 22lr work, y’all sent me to a guy in downtown Brenham I think.
