Not sure... That's how they ship direct from Noveske. My guess is to show its new. A few of the custom knives I've purchased have come packaged like that as well.

Exactly.. My dealer took the pics and sent them to me. I am still waiting patiently. Should have the 556 in a few weeks and the Leonidas in another 2 months.

Actually, now that I think about it, two of them are select fire...the little AR type and the Uzi. The other two are full auto all the time

The Uzi is a strange one. When I Form 2'ed it, I set the Uzi up as a SBR and the drop-in full auto bolt conversion system as its own item. They said "OK," so...
