going to need to be a bit more specific,

if you mean the price, it is 415 because the market allows for it.

if you mean the product, it is so folks can build their own.

I did get guns, but I needs some more.

I just didn't have to to get my LR-308 or Anzio ironworks 20mm. Then there was the 9mm AR I was gonna build and one in 300BO.

I probably won't be done putting my collection together till I'm 6 feet under

Doesn't sound like you figure on fighting to keep them, so why sweat it if you never get them? the serious man is spending his money on reloading components, instruction at high speed hitting and proper combat tactics, .22 ammo for his Ciener conversion unit (in the fighting rifle) and a $200 tax stamp for said rifle's suppressor, plus $100 to have somebody local do the necessary machinng to make a good one.

if we're going to have to fight to keep them, why would you pay for the tax stamp? do it yourself. it's all going to be outlawed anyway. DUH

Not sure if your comment is directed at me.

If so, you should look back at my posts history and you would see that I am neck deep I am neck deep on this fight.

If not, ignore what I just said.

Did you go the trust route for your suppressor or do you have a CLEO that will sign off?

I'd say that you are not, or you'd not be wasting time and money on stuff that's of so little value or likelihood of being of value in a fight.

I wish you would use the quote feature, it makes responses much easier to understand and pinpoint exactly what they are responding to.

Once again, it seems you are responding to my post and you seem to think I am not "in the fight". So let me clear a few things up for you Jack.

First, the choice of guns I buy are not solely based on offensive or defensive ability. I have some for specific reasons and some are purely for the joy of shooting and you haven't got a clue what I own so you have no idea what my defensive capabilities are.

Secondly, what would be of little or no value to you has absolutely no bearing on why would be of value to me. Engagement ranges at your home may be 50yrds, hundred at a stretch. Mine my be 800+ which would be quite a stretch for .233 or 5.56. On the other hand a .308 would be an ideal round at this range and would be pretty damned effective.

Third, my choice to own a .50 BMG and the joy I may get out of shooting a 20mm doesn't have a damned thing to do with my preparedness and how I choose to spend my money is absolutely none of your concern.

Right now the "fight" is being waged through phone calls, letters, and emails. If it moves to another level I am plenty prepared to defend myself and my property along with any others who would like to join me.

You can sit there an say how I am not in this fight, how I have wasted my money, and how my possessions are of little or no value but I will tell you right now that you don't have a god damned clue what you are talking about.

If you will choose to berate others based on their purchases and the way the choose to exercise their 2a rights you are no better than the left who are trying to do the same in a different way. No one has to justify a purchase by "need" and I own several, and will by more firearms only for the pleasure of shooting them with no regard to their "tactical" ability.

I would recommend you meet people and get to know them a little better before you decide who is equipped to defend their self. Maybe you should start worrying about the stage of the fight we are in now as it is now that we can prevent the need to physically fight to protect our rights.

    Anzio ironworks 20mm.

I've been fixated over this rifle for several years. antimaterial rifles just seem so awesome. at over 39,000 ft./lbs. muzzle energy, they're overkill for shooting at any animal on four or two legs, but probably a real blast to shoot (pun intended).

Yup, and lest I checked 10 bucks a pop, but if I could afford the rifle ammo probably would not be an issue.

My wife has given me permission to buy one, I just ain't got the cash.
