C'mon guys....check the networks - slow as they are, this would be such a HUGE story they'd be all over it by now....and not a peep. And as I noted on another thread, *I* - not "a buddy", "someone I know", etc - called my local store, and they said that shipments are VERY sporatic, but IT IS STILL COMING IN AND THEY CAN STILL ORDER IT.

I called my walmart today and asked them about this. I was told that they are still selling ammo, however the shipment that was supposed to come yesterday was a no-show and there's supposed to be another shipment coming in tnight.

It's true, don't bother stopping by Walmart looking for ammo anymore. Just forget about it...

I have bought a metric shit ton of ammo from Walmart over the years. When they have stock their prices are next to impossible to beat.

My local Walmart also carries re-loading supplies.
My local WM has never really had much of a selection, Limited calibers and only a few different brands. They carry no re-loading supplies, they've never really had much in the way of firearms in general. They do have metric shit tons of soda and chips though!

I bought several boxes of .45 FMJ at my local STL Wal-Mart Saturday night. Although it is hard to find - and when shipments come in people hoard it quickly - I don't believe Wally World has stopped selling. Come on y'all - this is an Arkansas company!

In our Wally World today and they had the same sign posted when we had the last scare concerning gun and ammo control. "All Ammo Sales Limited To 3 Boxes Per Customer." If they were going to quit selling why not just sell it all and be done with it. They are just like everyone else......having a hard time keeping up with demand.

I get tired of my peers (and the new hoarders) being allowed to buy everything they see in the display case. Maybe I am one of the only ones in the community who thinks this...but maybe they should limit it to 3 boxes per visit (during this time of confusion). Hell, I'm willing to share what is left!

I have no problem with a limit, don't have a problem with them letting people buy a case or two.

I hope if I walk in to a store as they are unloading the truck it is one with no limit.
