That's good ... I guess. But if you were born in America how can you be Mexican-American?It means I am the first generation of my family to be born in the US.

Great, you must be very close to where I live.Welcome aboard! I live up here in your neck of the woods as well (Guilbeau/1604). I am fairly new on here but not to guns. Let me know if I can help you at all.
I get that a lot. My race is Mexican, my nationality is American. Those two things will never change, having someone tell me I'm not Mexican is worse than someone telling you that they are taking your firearms and all rights to ever have them again. It's about family, culture, pride and history. Just ask most people that come from Irish or Italian decent, they usually get it.That's good ... I guess. Yup, thank you.Multiple Latin American countries recognize dual citizenship.. Since his parents are Mexican he can ask for Mexican citizenship. Similar to a new born, with both parents being American, he could be claim as an American citizenship and have the citizenship from the country he was born.

Welcome! Some friendly advice, stay away from Texas Thunder if at all possible. I'm in your area as well and would be happy to give you some pointers or advice if you need it.
I'd have to agree with that. I sold him an M1 Tanker Garand, he beat the price down as much as he could, then when I was walking out, he upped the offer. Then on my next visit he tried to beat me up about problems he had with it. I had no problems the entire 10-12 years I had it, He was just trying to squeeze more out of me. I haven't been back since.Welcome! Some friendly advice, stay away from Texas Thunder if at all possible. Sorry but my understanding of this little ball we call earth is that "Mexican" is no more a race than is "American". My point is not to get into an internet fight with you but rather point some things out. I have no desire to deny you your heritage any more than you should deny my heritage. But I am not Scotch-Irish-Indian-American. I am an American, PERIOD. Forget 1st, 2nd, etc. generation birth locations. To me it is like you are either male or female, there's no in between, screw transgender freaks. And don't hide behind 'but I am pro 2nd Amendment'. If you don't honor the US Constitution in its entirety, you do not rank as an American in my book.I get that a lot. My race is Mexican, my nationality is American. He was born in the USA, what are you struggling with?Multiple Latin American countries recognize dual citizenship.. Since his parents are Mexican he can ask for Mexican citizenship. See above. My family is from Jalisco. I'm first generation, but dual citizenship
