Masterpiece Arms, Seecamp, Rohrbaugh, Calico Arms, Hi Point, DPMS, Olympic Arms, Taurus(semi-autos only/from my experiance they make a good revolver), Kel-Tec, anything w/ gold plating(except a gold plated trigger-because one is on a Browning shotgun I own) and finally a number of cheap makers of small semi-autos(ya'll know who they are)

    A few pistols, with a couple mags a piece. A shotgun. . . . . .

Yeah, if I run out of ammo I'm having a really bad day
That's intense a little like my arsenal and yeah that does sound like a very bad day if we are out of ammo. Although the solid wood buttstock on my stoeger coachgun would make one hell of a jawbreaker.

I have never come across anyone who did not at least appreciate the 1911. What's your reasoning? I'm not gonna argue, just curious is all.

Oh I appreciate them, I think they're nifty... I think the smart car's nifty to. I'm just not comfortable with metal guns. Never liked the feel of the grip or the weight. I'm sure some will say otherwise, but I don't feel they are as reliable as I would like. I've never seen one with sights I cared for. I also like a double stack magazine in something larger than a 9. So it just doesn't suit my needs, tastes, or budget. I will say I do love the triggers. So I guess I shouldn't say I would never own one, I would just never purchase one. If someone wants to donate one in order to convert me, feel free. Otherwise I'll stick to plastic pistols with the ergonomics of dust busters.

    GLOCK!!!

I borrowed one from a buddy to try for a few months, but it did not fit my hand well and I did not like the feel of the trigger. Plus I see no asthetic value in this gun. I am not trying to insult any GLOCK owners here but my God those are ugly guns.

Glocks don't fit my hand and I think it is a HUGE design flaw having to pull the trigger for breakdown. Now 1911's have owned a colt and a knockoff and shot many others. Beautiful and dead on sights , feels good in my hands too. Just not for me, I like SA/DA on anything I carry also if I am going to carry an auto it has to have more than 7 rounds. I know they have hi capacity 1911's but still single action. Once again they are a BLAST to shoot but alas I traded mine in as I don't want to practice with a gun that I don't plan on carrying. I feel my range time is better spent on guns that I may have to use some day. Now when they make a double action hi capacity 1911 with a decock I wI'll be first in line to get one. Till then enjoy guys as you won't have to fight me for ammo when they get it in! :)

I used to say Glock but I put some down the pipe of my brothers G19 and I liked it. Then I got to thinking, its simple, reletively light and somewhat compact... I like it. And they are decently priced so yeah I like em.

One I would never buy is the one a few strangers and I were making fun of ona recent trip to Academy. A bright polished Beretta 92 clone from Taurus with faux pearl grips and gold hardware.

Can't say I'd drop the coin on a Hi Point either. But I have considered one as a fun gun. But then I figured my guns are plenty fun. Wouldn't mind having a cheap HP Carbine to mess around with though.

Bersa, Hi Point, a Glock that's not a 9mm, Taurus, Rock River Arms, Rock Island Armory 1911's, DA Para's, SA Revolvers, new Berettas, Ruger Pistols, American made Sigs & some others I can't think of at the moment....

    Lot liking 1911s is un-American.

    :patriot:

John Moses Browning... anything that man designed, I want to own.

Don't get me wrong. Model 1911 and 1911A1 pistols are the best. OLD Colt handguns are the standard by which all quality is measured.

The current Colt handgun production is just plain bad.

Colt ARs are, for some reason, very high quality. They must be made by someone else and stamped "Colt"
