The last time I went there a few months ago it was much better. Picked up some odds and ends like WC 1911 mags and Para mags pretty cheap. No great ass deals. Wonder what the woodlands did. Got no report from all those guys that live 5 minutes from there so must not of been too good.

I got a couple good deals in Stafford. Picked up a Made in Germany factory HK45C magazine for $20 (normally $50+) and a Ruger Mk Awesome for $335:

It didn't look that way when you left the building!!!!! I see you found a use for the bottom rail.

Lol wasn't the bipod your idea? Me and Jared wanted to put one of those AFGs but the bipod is better I think, you can fold the legs down and grip those, or use it as a bipod.

Chuck forgot to mention our awesome automatic knives ! I don't think I would ever go to a show there again. I did manage to pick up a Mac 11 at collectors firearms afterwards for a good price and a little over a thousand rounds 124 grain 9mm

    Sent from Kate Beckinsale's closet.

You were actually listening... LOL You know you'll need it to make those 100+ yard shots.

Man you got a great deal on that pistol. I picked up an OTF automatic knife (you would not believe how good of a deal I got on this gem of a knife). Some Wilson 1911 mags. A few other misc. what not. I have seen better but also worst gun shows but it was good hanging out with you guys. Really looking forward to the next TGT meet.

Went this afternoon. I picked up some jerky and a set of "Come and Take It" 1911 grips at a decent price. Also re-upped for TSRA, upgraded to a lifetime membership. Saw a NIB, unfired PPKS Interarms import. Thought about trying to trade for it, but decided against it. AR's appear to be down to new-normal prices. Ammo is still expensive, but was available in virtually every major caliber. I went down mainly because I get in free (HGCA member), so I figured it was worth the 20 minute drive. I didn't stay but a couple of hours. It was really slow today. In terms of headcount, there were more vendors than attendees I think.

Reliant in September should be better, even though you pay for parking. At some point the show is moving to the Reliant Arena. It will end up being a larger show, but the facility isn't as nice. Rent is cheaper for HGCA though.
