What is your favorite gun? It can be anything from an air rifle to a howitzer. I really like the old single six's. There is nothing like shooting an old wheel gun. I like the semi autos but I'll always love wheel guns and lever action rifles.
    So there's mine what's yours?

My Great Grandfather's Springfield rolling block 45-70. Still shoots and just feels good to hold it as silly as that sounds. Second would have to be my Granddad's Sears and Roebuck bolt action .22, without a doubt the most accurate gun I have EVER shot!!

My trusty and always true friend. S&W 4506. The most perfect .45 ever engineered.

I really love both of my lever action rifles. One is 24" in .357 mag, the other is 20" in .44 mag. If I could sneak one more in without the wife chewing my danglers off, it'd be a 16" in .357 mag.

My Dad has a Winchester 94 (I think) 30-30 Lawman It is a pretty gun and accurate to boot. Ans a ruger 357mag black hawk that I will inherit one day. I love both of those guns. I was trying to get him to give me the rifle as a wedding present but he said no.LOL!

I probably shouldn't say this ... And, I should have taken a picture ... I hit a fence post dead square in the center this weekend. First shot, 90 paces, with my 20" .44 mag.

Showed the wife and kids. Hope the neighbor doesn't see it, LOL.

    Favorite Gun ?

My choices swing like the leaves in a stiff breeze from modern to old.

    Presently:

    1911 Pistol
    Ruger MKII
    Winchester Mod. '62 Pump .22
    1896 Krag 30-40 Carbine

    Tomorrow may be Modern firearms.

    Favorites come in different flavors.

My favorite for reasons other then shooting or carrying is my Browning HiPower T series, which was my Dad's.

For shootability, my Sig P226 9mm is more accurate than I am, but my new Dan Wesson CBOB may be taking over that roll.

For carry and defense, my favorates are HK P2000

    What day is it?

I would have to say the Ithaca 37 my grandfather taught me to shoot with.
After that, the M1 carbine grandpa left me that he paid $12 for through mail order from the NRA many a moon ago.

My post war Mauser .22 trainer my dad gave me for fathers day 26 years ago. I shoot it at least once a week. It will soon go to the next generation.

    Be safe and be accurate.

I had one of those that my dad and uncles had when they where kids. My Dad "borrowed" it and took it the WV with him. It was a single shot but I could hit spent 12 ga shells at damn near 100 yds all the time. I miss that gun.
