Why would gun sellers even want to sell it? This is technology that may one day put many of them out of business or severely cut down on their current margins.
Would be funny as hell to see the pro-gun guys in California put forth legislation requiring all LEO to carry these
Then sit back and wait for them to create a shit storm about them being unsafe, dangerous, un-tested, etc.......................
It's a wildly overpriced ten-round .22LR pistol that quite frankly has no chance of standing up to anything like regular use before the electronics break and it becomes an inert paperweight (possibly with a round chambered...how safe!)
How can it not fall on its face?
