    I think you did spell it right in Californian ebonics. That is a taught language there; isn't it? I know someone pushed for it in the 90's anyway. You're downright multi-cultural today!

    I remember talk of Ebonics around 1984. An English teacher from the U of H and I had a small discussion.

    I figured they were for it since it was a short conversation, but wouldn't calling that person an English teacher make the term an oxymoron if they supported poor use of English as a form of academics? And why the heck are they educating someone's kid? These are all sarcastic questions by the way. The goal is make everyone equally dumb so that no one can be better than anyone else...communism anyone?

    Actually, he was an old white guy, 60+, and didn't seem in favor of dumbing things down. I don't recall him being pro-stupid.

    Keep in mind, we are talking 25 years ago or so.
