    Hi guys! (& gals)

I'm about to order a holster for my 1911. (Decided that my Smartcarry works best with shorts and sweats.)

I like the Texas Heritage from Tucker but thought about reholstering one handed. Then I saw the Silent Thunder with the leather lining. (I like leather) Anybody have one of these? The thing I'm wondering about is the single belt clip. I like the way the Texas Heritage spreads the weight of the gun over a large area. Will this be a problem with the Silent Thunder? I also want to know about the cant. I like to have the gun canted forward as much as possible so it's easier to draw and the grip doesn't stick out as much. Please educate me. I had an IWB holster for a 1911 in 1981 so I need some info before I buy.

    Thanks!

Tucker makes nice holsters. I've got 2 different for my Les Baer. What is the wait these days?

About 8 weeks for the Texas Heritage and about 2 1/2 weeks for the Silent Thunder.

After talking with Rob, I'm going to order the Silent Thunder and try it out. I read a review of it on the 1911 forum and some attaboys on the Tucker site and people seem to like them. We'll see.

I just really and truely hate sending things back. I really do. I'll let you in on a secret. My real identity is Lemon Man. Got the yellow suit and red cape and all that. My special super power is that I'm able to pick the one malfunctioning or broken item out of a hundred identical ones on the shelf, buy it and have to bring it back. Sometimes more than once! Works online too! I always get the lemon. But if I pick out what I want and get my wife to go online and order it, they'll send a good one but don't let them find out it's for me or they'll dig up a broken one to ship out and I'll have to send it back for replacement or refund. LOL
