    Helotes!
We had the usual breakfast yesterday morning and a good group show up. Afterwards we went over to the show and also as usual, everyone went their separate ways. While it was the "same old same old," I still had about two-and-a-half hours of fun talking with good friends and looking at guns. To be honest, there was much more of the former and not a lot of the latter; but for five bucks I still think it's worth the time and money. I don't have high expectations of finding that golden deal on something I can't live without, but it does happen; however, it's not my motivation for going. For me it's still about the opportunity to catch up with those in the local gun community, enjoyable conversations and checking out guns. It has to be a very lousy show to disappointment me (although it's happened)...

    Cheers! M2

to me, buying ammo at a gun show is...well like ordering expensive drinks at all you can eat (see) buffet. Get the buffet, drink water. OR, buying ammo at the gun show is like ordering a kia fully loaded. Somethings are just best said no to. Great place to touch and see your merchandise before you order it. Great place to ask questions, hear some bs, give some bs. The only TGT person I saw this weekend was 10mm Mike. Thanks for the kolachie's BTW !!

Center, just to the right. I forgot to remember the names of the vendors around us but ... Richard the silver coin/jewlery vendor to my left, and a pistol barrel guy to our right. Was excellent location except for a couple issues, detailed below.

Saturday wasn't as busy for us as Premier and we were rethinking decision to make the trip to Saxet but Sunday kicked booty at least on the rifle side after a slow start. Ruth's reloading was slow, primarily due to a lack of available inventory. On sunday, we took down our racks and signs after the wife 1/2 of the old couple behind us complained to todd 2x about our rack and our dogs and spent a lot of the afternoon saturday boo-hooing to the other oldtimer club vendors about us, lmfao. The guy was ok but the wife was one of those "not happy unless gossiping/complaining" types. Hate that about Saxet.

Oh, heard thru the grapevine that Todd's vehicle got broken into after the show on Sunday, as another vendor vehicle as well. Got a purse, computer, etc.

Ya without the beard, it was anyone's guess. I'm sure after it came off and you looked in the mirror, you were like WTF ??!?

Y'know, now that you mention it, I do remember seeing the dogs! :D

I was pretty worn out Saturday morning, I just got back into town the night prior and have been on the road a lot lately. I almost skipped the show to catch up on lost sleep, but I decided to go anyway as I always have fun at them.

After eight months, getting rid of the beard did take some getting used to but to be honest, now that it's gone I am glad it is! I am still trying to adjust to my face without it, but now that it's getting hot, I think it was a good time to get rid of it!

    Cheers! M2

Couldn't make it this time. Did anybody happen to catch the prices of SR1911's?

I'll be back in the corner as usual. Will be bringing some different stuff this time...inferior AR types (LWRC, Ruger, etc.) and some silencers along with the usual junk...
