2008 MazdaSpeed3. Pretty fun little car. 263HP/280FTLB "hot hatch", turbo charged, direct injection, factory limited slip, awesome Volvo brakes. Handles fantastic. Love fast little cars. Used to have a 91 Miata I put a supercharger on. This works better with kiddos though and is still tons of fun to drive. Put a trailer hitch on it so I can still haul larger items when needed. Great sleeper car. Looks unassuming just looking at it but put your foot down and it's gone

Yeah but isn't that a $70k Camaro? Lot's of similar performance in that price range.

Nothing touches it at the price point. It blew away much more expensive cars (nissan gtr and Ferrari 488) track times. Kicker will be how reliable it is. It shares drive train with the z06 which is having failures due to cooling issues internally to the motor.

ZL1 actually fixes the cooling issues of the Z06, and the '18 Z06 will follow suit with the same 3x cooler arrangement the Camaro uses.

Dee is exactly right. At this price point there is ***NOTHING*** that can put up even a half assed attempt of a fight. Take a peek at the fastest 'ring list and see what's up:
Wikipedia: Nurburgring fastest production car lap times

There's no way to shake this down - GM just threw down the gauntlet. Hard. They even ran the car on the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires it comes with. The car is an absolute monster.

Getting ready for a 3000 mile roundtrip east in the '74, but only to reciprocal states. Fingers crossed that she travels well and I can avoid smokey along the way.

But it'll haul 3 bikes 2000 miles, getting 27MPG at 75 MPH and not even break a sweat... what's not to love???

I figure it should also make a pretty good shooting platform for LD precision shooting. :D

    My commuter clown car.
    I suck.

    It's a California compliance car.
    $0 down, $49/month, 3 year lease.

Electric so I could use CA carpool lanes without passengers.

Lowered was ok in CA, but terrible for DFW roads.

It's actually pretty quick up to about 50mph...top speed 88mph LOL
