Here was the beast I used to own:

'87 911 Carrera, built motor, turbo kit, put down 431whp but needed some work. Unfortunately I sold the car recently, so all I have at the moment is a beater Maxima. I hope this stupid real estate and mortgage industry picks up soon so I can buy another one in the near future!

The company I work with has seen something ridiculous like an 80% loss of business since the RE/Mortgage industry peak around '05. Not to mention since '05 two of our biggest clients, Ameriquest and Home Funds Direct basically went under. It's starting to come back but it's going to take a good solid year most likely before things improve significantly. I'll say this much, I've learned a bit better (still need improvement) how to save money, that's for sure!

Yeah, it sucks right now. I'm an investor, so it's scramble time to pick up all the good deals I can. It's hard after just getting over this slump, especially when lenders are trying as hard as they can, not to approve you. 2 closings this week has me running around like an idiot.
