    I took my chl class 9/16, received plastic on 10/2 and this was a first time issue, not renewal. Anyways, I get paid bi-weekly on monday, came home to get changed to go to Wally World for groceries. As we were pulling out, checked the mail and there was card. I threw the truck in reverse, ran in the house and returned proudly wearing :D Didn't have a Hawaiian shirt and prolly never will, but was in my wranglers, wrangler shirt, boots and straw hat, yeehaw

    I was more like Tommy Bahama, Hilo Hattie and Tori Richard kind of guy. I don't think I left Hawaii with less than 4 new shirts. Gotta love per diem courtesy of the tax payers.

    Unless it has been covered up, I certainly haven't heard of one that I worked on. The subs might be an easier cover up then the aircraft carriers and the few frigate, most all the cruisers they decommissioned (nuclear) are now razor blades.

    Congrats!

    In Colorado it was Wally world, too.. not sure on the Hawaiian shirt part... but it makes sense, would make you draw attention to yourself (hard to blend in when you clash)
    When I got my TX LTC, I had already had a CO CHP for 6 years.. so was kinda anti-climactic. Technicially, CO won't recognize my CO permit anymore (since I'm TX resident, and they don't recognize non-resident permits)... which made me have to get my TX LTC twice- first with my CO address (non-resident), then an address change with my TX address- in order to avoid a lapse in coverage... had to have a TX LTC before applying for a TX DL

    And THEN they dropped the price by $100 (yay)
