I can't find anyone in my local area doing transfers for less than 25. There used to be a couple of them, but they're gone now. So it's GT's for me.

CTGW used to be $5 or so with a texas law shield subscription, is that not the case anymore?
If not, who is currently the cheapest up north?

I utilize an FFL in Leander that, last time I bought, charged $15 per item. $10 if you have an LTC. He is off of Bagdad Road just N. of Leander proper. Kind of hit & miss to establish contact with him. He has a day job. Great to work with though.

Honestly not worth it for me in gas, time, or traffic to drive anywhere else.

I do them for $15, $10 with CHL but they are by appointment only since we don't have a retail location. Our location is near Howard and 35.

ATX Armory in North Austin. $20 for LTC holders. $25 without.

I've got an FFL in Leander that was (it's been awhile since I checked) $15 or $10 with an LTC. If you buy 2 guns at once it's twice as much as for one gun. I.e., no savings on multi purchase - but $10!

Update on GT Distributors. I found out the hard way today that they have increased their FFL transfer fee to $60. :banghead:

That can be partially offset by my new GT Distributors customer fee of $35 per visit. Which they will happily pay if they ever want me to use them as a vendor again. LOL

If you are near Kyle I know Money & More Pawnshop 575 Ranch to Market Rd 150, Kyle, TX 78640 - they do FFL Transfer for 20 bucks. Great people too.. also they list all the guns on fb that they sale. Great deals.
