Ordered a Ruger PC9 and this T/C R22. Gonna mount this 1-6X24 on her. Waiting on rings. Gonna put both rings behind the turrets. We'll see. $1200 glass on $320 plinker. After buying the scope, Leupold will make a BDC reticle for any round/muzzle velocity you specify for no extra charge. Scope weighs only 13 oz.

SVT-40? Nice, always wanted one of those, wish they were more common.

You just reminded me that I bought a gun this past weekend. Technically I bought it back, sold it to a friend years ago under the condition that I get first dibs to buy it back when he wants to sell it.

1933 Tula Hex receiver 91/30, excuse the shitty pictures, I’m not too excited about it considering it’s just another 91/30 and I’ve already owned it before.

Saw this at my LGS and looked it over for a few minutes and brought it.

From 1990 (serial NM) I would say in about 95% condition. One previous owner.

From the looks of it, it appears to be barely shot. View attachment 162321

This is my first Browning rifle and even my first 270. i have not decided if I am going to scope it or not.
I put a peep sight on mine. It’s sweet.

Here is a Jericho 941 9mm pistol that I just got in. It is based on the CZ 75 design. It's an all steel DA pistol that weighs in at an awesome 39 oz. (with no mag in it). The build quality and functionality is exceptional on this pistol and it looks cool on top of that.

Of course I can't keep this in its stock configuration so I did a few upgrades on it...

Replaced the stock front and rear sights with TRU-DOT tritium night sights.
Replaced the stock 20# hammer spring with a 15# one for a smooth trigger pull.
Replaced the plastic grips with an ergonomic Hogue rubber grip.

Well I finally get to post in the "buy today" thread. After 24 guns in 24 months its been a year or so since a purchase. (other than builds)

Went to PSC and had a great day. Ate dinner early and started talking about 1911's for mamma so we went shoppin at Academy. Decided to go shoot some and ended the day up at the Arms Room where we came across this little beauty. After some negotiations it became our newest family member.

A beautiful Witness "c" in .45ACP. Mammas new pride and joy.

I keep checking this thread because I feel like someone should be posting up a 45-70 soon. And someone else should be buying a Redhawk in 44 Magnum too.

I am planing on getting several Witness pistols myself in different calibers including .45 ACP.

I highly recommend this for the long term "health" of your Witness pistol: http://www.henningshop.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=1284179&CAT=9244

If you are up to replacing the hammer spring to improve the trigger pull get a 14# hammer spring then replace the firing pin with this one: http://www.henningshop.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=1291046&CAT=9244

These upgrades are significant and well worth the reasonable extra investment into the pistol.

I had one of these as this was my 1st hunting rifle in 7 rem mag. From 2000 and comes with a polish trigger and a drilled muzzle brake done by previous owner. Comes with a Leopold VX-3i 3.5-10 x 40 mm scope. Looking forward to going to the range.

    AAC was a great company.
Now acquired by bankrupt Remington I fear AAC is soon to be defunct.

I found, 2 days ago, a mint AAC 300BLK rifle.
    AAC uppers are $1,000 plus.
This is an AAC lower too. Uncommon.
    Premium components.
Primo barrel. Giessele 2 stage trigger. Knight's Armament rail assembly.

    Screen%20Shot%202019-02-21%20at%208.29.35%20PM_zps3kiquqad.png

Within 2 hours of ownership I added:
Magpul PRS stock to tame the vicious (Or is it viscous) recoil of the 300Blackout?
ACOG optic because....well...no explanation needed. It was dusty on a shelf.
Faux-Atlas $40 bipod that is pretty functional.
AAC 7.62 silencer (not suppressor) because it's made for the rifle.
    ....................

    Above shot:
Zeroed perfectly with about 5 rounds at 100 meters.

300 Blackout, with the five 300BLK rifles I now have, is not a 1MOA round.
I got 1.5 MOA with the rather course ACOG 4x reticle and generic 220gr Remy $15 ammo.
With a finer scope and the right ammo, this might be my 1MOA Blackout I've wanted.

    .........................
    Oh. BTW.
Best of all it's smile-precipitatingly silent.
The sound is similar to hitting a 2x4 with a hammer.
I got 100 feet away with my son shooting today. Bullet impact is far louder than the muzzle sound. Mostly the mechanical action sound overwhelms the scant report out of that silencer.
Not at all identifiable from 100 feet as a firearm in use.

I recently got a 5906 with the square trigger guard and I am about to start looking for a holster that can fit it. The one you have looks great to me. Who makes it and what model is it?

    Bianchi 97A Grabber

I also have a Galco fl250 that is coming in soon but it was $80. I am going to check it out and if it doesn't impress, its going back. If you can find another Bianchi, don't hesitate to get it. I found mine on ebay
