    Here
Other than hate the NRA for years, what have you personally done?

First of all I don't hate the NRA because the NRA is it's members. And the NRA members that I personally know are good people. I do hate the way the NRA is run.

As for what I have personally done to get members for the GOA, I have given several GOA memberships, caps and t-shirts as gifts. I don't know how many people that I have influenced to join the GOA but I am sure that it is quite a few. I usually spend about an hour a day, sometimes more, trying to get the word out about the GOA. I made an offer here on TGT to buy GOA pamphlets and have them sent to anyone that would give them to gun shops in their area or wherever they thought to be appropriate. There was only one person that took me up on the offer. The offer still stands, just PM me your address.

I also send a donation to the GOA or some other pro-gun organization every time that I get a phone call from the NRA.

If you need to know what else I do to help defend the 2A just ask.

So what have you personally done other than take offense when someone points out the facts about the NRA?

BUT! They want a strong NRA and feel we need a strong NRA, but they don't feel they can be promoting people join the NRA. Hmmmmm.

Would you be willing to publicly promote an organization that has been corrupted to it's core and needs to see major reform before it's acceptable?

I can fully support the ideas that the NRA is SUPPOSED to believe in, but in recent years they have shown a horrific level of corruption and incompetence within the ranks of the leadership, as well as turn it's back on certain parts of the 2nd Amendment such as with bump stocks. The way they are handling donated money is unforgivable. That money should go towards protecting the 2nd Amendment and NOTHING else. Certainly not expensive dinner parties, lavish lifestyles, and extremely high salaries.

Lastooge, Cotton, and their ilk need to go, or the GOA needs to usurp the NRA as the main defender of our rights.

Seems to be all lip service as they line their pockets.
Yes, the pockets of the $274,000 Wayne spent on clothing over 11 years. That’s $2,075 a month. Anyone else spending that kind of money on clothes per month?

ETA: Life Member BTW. Got a big re-enlistment bonus in 2009 and signed my wife and I up. How many other 29 year olds sign up for life memberships?

I got my life membership at 24. At 25 I became an NRA certified instructor

Nope, but I wasn't doing it in the first place on YouTube. I just find it ironic that they are saying they want a strong NRA and at the same time are going public about their plans to do something that is unhelpful to making the NRA strong.
