    Man I hate to burst any bubbles but this is 4 fillets being seared/grilled in the Yoder YS640 set up with grill grates. Nothing better than reverse searing steak over a hickory wood pellet flame. It’s not the same as a gas or charcoal grill but it’s great for searing. The grate temp was running about 550 in the pics. I check it with an infrared thermometer.

    I've heard good things about the grill grates. Do you keep the lid open when you sear them?
