So I try not to post CA bashing threads, there’s plenty of those that get posted and I’m not too salty about that damned state anymore.

But I had to share this.
The sheds in the picture are being setup in communities to house the homeless, at a cost of $130k per.

This is what happens when government goes batshit crazy...

Damn. I only charged my son-in-law $2000.00 for a 10'x12'x8' tall shed. Also built him a custom 6'x7' door for his 5' wide riding mower would fit through. This included floor, wall, joist, decking sheet metal roof, window, siding and trim. He did the painting. of course this was the son-in-law price. any one else, I would have probably charged, around $3500.00.

Why not? San Francisco spent more than $18 million on hotel rooms for the homeless with some indication that many of the rooms went unfilled

    From that article:
“The city cannot afford to keep the shelter-in-place hotels open indefinitely,” Stewart-Kahn told The Chronicle in an interview. San Francisco has not yet been reimbursed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and it’s not clear when it will be.

At about $260 a night per room, the city is spending nearly $8,000 per person per month — more than twice the median rent of a one-bedroom apartment in San Francisco."

Yeah, THAT sure makes a lot of sense... <<sarcasm

Who's the contractor on that? James Biden? The taxpayers are being fleeced.
