She’s not much, but it’s my first 1911. Definitely not my last!!! It is such a blast to shoot. And for a gun that cost less than $400 it is dead accurate. View attachment 195100

It always amazes folks how accurate a 1911 is right out of the box.
I am not a fan of the ATI as I have seen more than a few with some issues brand new but brother if you get a good one they are just fine. Looks like you have a good one.

Enjoy and as you step up in quality there will be nothing but smiles.

I don't carry 1911s, but I enjoy shooting them. I don't have any of the high quality or dollar stuff, but what I have has been dependable and accurate and fun...Taurus government in 9mm, RIA government in 45, Springfield range officer in 45 and just acquired a pseudo 1911, a RIA .380 1911. Have not shot it yet. I guess my wife's sig 238 (granddaughter has one as well) are pseudo 1911s.
The RIA government model I have had for 20 years or so. My dad gave it to me. It rattles and is loose, but shoots any ammo. Not the most accurate firearm in my collection, but don't really care.
Can't wait to shoot my latest purchase.

I have some that are a bit more expensive than others and some not so much, the main thing is, do they go bang when you want them to?

What has always made me spend just a little more, but not a lot.
    Fit, finish, and better trigger.
If they get those things right, the chances of it not being accurate or reliable are pretty low. I have always gravities towards Springfield over the RIA’s or Taurus’s. If you are happy with your purchase that’s good too.
