I'll ask my sister if she'll loan me her Gen 1 G17.

I doubt she will. I'll be out of the house for a couple of days and it's her favorite home defense pistol. But if she's willing to part with it (Lord knows, we've got plenty of firearms she could sub in for it.) I'll bring it for you and anyone else to shoot.

I also have a G24 converted to 9mm, which is the functional equivalent of a G17L. Would you like me to bring that?

Thanks Ben, the 24 would be too long, trying to see if I like the 4" or the 4.5" barrel.

Yeah, of sorts. Over and above my general maladies, I've somehow contracted a nasty lil' disease (NON-contagious) that is effecting the skin on the ankle of my bad leg. Doc. wants me off my feet as much as possible but, if I do need to be up and walking, to wear the least constricting, around the ankles, footwear as possible with as much padding as possible to protect it, and to move as (relatively) gently as possible, so as not to induce any more shock or trauma to that area. So, seeing as how this is an event held outdoors, on rocky grounds, over a fairly large area, I'll need a bit of time gettin' there.

The worst part of this though, I was going to use this as a final test run to figure out which pistol goes with me to Sig Academy. Guess maybe I still can if I only take two or three, instead of the whole safe...

I'm bringing a Star BM (one magazine jams I think I want to test that) 2 Caniks (TP9SF and the TP9SF Elite) the Beretta 81 and my rifles as I need to put some rounds down range with them. I'm working on getting 32ACP ammo but if you have some please bring it.
