New Bronco looks like an FJ Cruiser.
Yeah, they definitely copied Ford's homework with the FJ...

The FJ was an homage to early Land Cruisers, which pre-dated the Bronco by 20 years

They really just copied Jeep for the early models, then ran with it.

The early Jeeps like this one? View attachment 221537

    Yup.
    Ford and Willys built those.
There may have been another MFR or two as well...

One thing is for sure, they didn’t copy the 1st Gen Bronco as pictured. More like the Bronco drew from the same military “Jeep” inspiration.

I have had 2 Jeeps, a Blazer, a Toyo FJ40 and 5 Early Broncos.. loved them all (well not the Blazer)
My hard core off roading is done but not my tough trail trips Looking forward to buying a new Bronco!

I've seen a few of the new Bronco 4 door soccer mom kid haulers. They are pretty hideous. Still waiting to see a 2 door actually set up for some wheeling.

    Gunz are icky.
    Don't care for them.
I've seen a few around. All of them that hideous gray.
    Kinda small too.
What can they do that an all wheel drive RAV4 not do?

There are actually two different Bronco's from Ford now. One is the Bronco, built off the new Ford Ranger platform. It's body on frame configuration.

Then they have the Bronco Sport, which is a crossover SUV built off the Ford Escape platform which is a unibody configuration.
