KIMBER STAINLESS ULTRA CARRY II.

Went to the range tonight and had a blast (pardon the pun). 250 rounds of Federal 230gr FMJ and not a single FTF or FTE - using Wilson Combat #47D0X mags.

Of course I had to test what I've heard about stock Kimber mags - its true. I ended up throwing it in the trash at the range - some guy started laughing. I just shrugged and said, I had to know.

Note about Federal "American Eagle" FMJ, they are dirty as hell! Took me an hour to clean it all out. I love the Federal Hydra Shock JHP, but steer clear of the FMJ.

Recoil was far less than expected and when I did use the laser it was dead on accurate - no adjustment out of the box. I am a totally satisfied happy camper.

My groups weren't as tight as I would have liked, but here's the first targets at 25 yards. I was doing double taps and as close to rapid firing as the range would allow (which is 1 per second). I was drawing from a holster and keeping my aim at center of mass. For these targets I didnt use the laser at all.
