You can find some pretty good deals on a shield in 30 SC. This early after round introduction that oughta tell you something.

The 30 SC has no advantages over a quality 9mm +P (which most all modern 9s are capable of using). The 30 SC wil be hard to find decent ammo for especially for defensive use but it’s out there.

If you’re not going to shoot the gun a lot or reload the 30 SC might work for ya because of the deals you can get on a shield. Then again to be proficient you’re gonna need to shoot a fair bit.

To me, the 30 SC is an autoloader version of the .327 Federal.
