    Wonder if casting for this cartridge would help make things any cheaper?
    I've chatted with some guys that cast for the subs...pretty cost effective, I have not yet delved into that pursuit (not likely to get the spousal environmental seal of approval). Plus I like my sub-MOA groups, not sure I could achieve that.

    I thought silencers had problems with lead ammo and the lead vapor fouling them up and in extreme cases coming loose and causing a baffle strike. Make sure if you do this that you get a serviceable can or one not made of aluminum so you can give it a solvent bath.

    Also I thought lead was a no no on gas driven rifles...doesn't it plug the gas port?
